The Living Waters Harbor, LLC owners are proposing to Design/Build/Own/Operate a Coho Salmon Facility in the NorthPark Business Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Over four years ago, the Living Waters Harbor, LLC team began the journey of developing an egg-to-harvest salmon farm and processing facility here in the Midwest. The partners have over 15 years of procuring, production, marketing, distributing and selling seafood from around the world and the McKee family who are land and building owners, developers, and have over forty years of experience in operating water and wastewater treatment systems across the USA, joins forces to design/build/own/operate a salmon farm in the Midwest.

Then, in the spring of 2019, the owners began working with AquaMaof, Inc. and their proprietary RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) design. Mike McKee, a water/wastewater scientist, then spent time evaluating and vetting the AquaMaof system. Finally, Mike agreed it was very sophisticated yet a very simple process. Then Living Waters Harbor began the design/build/own/operate process of developing a 5,000 M.T. (metric ton) Coho Salmon facility in St. Louis, Missouri as Phase I with two additional phases being planned each with 5,000 M.T. for a total of 15,000 M.T. a year.

The team chose Coho Salmon rather than Atlantic Salmon due to better farming, characteristics and market dynamics.
